The new and new journey

It seems to take a long time to write the second story. Lots of new stories were generated, polished, and archived.

After my undergraduate, I entered the College of Brain Science and Brain Medicine here, as a graduate of the same university, except I changed my major to neurobiology.

I embarked on a new journey with neuroscience peers. Mostly happy with the challenges and knowledge about our brains. But sometimes still frustrated by the environment in the lab. A happy home, but not a pure place to grow in academia.

After experiencing everything in a new college department, my new journey gradually became older. I was accustomed to the devices and experiments here, accompanied by a number of new friends, gratefully, some of whom were much senior to me.

Nevertheless, a brand-new journey is still going on— I decided to stop this program. I started my journey by applying for a Fall 2024 Ph.D. in the US.

Over the past two months, I have finished withdrawal files, TOEFL tests, and half of the applications. The deadline for the last four is 15 Dec, and there is only minor labor left on modifying the Personal Statement.

I’m not sure where I will go, but I’m sure this reboot can be worthwhile. When asking for the recommendation letter, my undergraduate mentor told me, ‘You need some perseverance.’

That’s it. Peter, be perseverant after your landing.
